Summary
In this third Death Wish film, Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) the vigilante, returns to New York and comes to the rescue of the residents of a New York suburb.

The film begins with Kersey on his way to visit his old war buddy Charley (Francis Drake) in New York. Meanwhile his friend is being mugged and beaten up in his apartment by the local gang. Charley dies just after Kersey arrives at the scene. The police blame Kersey and arrest him. At the police station he is tortured by the police and put into a holding cell where he encounters Mandy Fraker (Gavin O'Herlihy) the chief creep with gang marks on his forehead (and a really bad haircut). Of course this encounter leads to a fight and when Fraker is released he threatens to kill Kersey if he ever crosses him again.

Police chief Striker (who recognized Kersey from a few years before when he was previously in New York) makes him a proposition to release him but in return of his freedom he has to help the police to get rid of Fraker and his gang in the Belmont area, which *coincidently* is the same area where Charley was killed. Kersey agrees and goes back to the terrorized neighborhood.

The rest of the story is probably known to most of you. Kersey strikes back and turns the whole area into a true war zone with the help of Charley's neighbors and the police. Alex plays the role of Hispanic gangmember Hermosa. He was still in filmschool when this was filmed. Charles Bronson was 64 at the time. A lot of the film was filmed in London, rather then New York. When you watch carefully you can tell by the architecture.

Alex giving Marina Sirtis (who stars as Maria) the fright of her life. Marina Sirtis went on to play Commander Troi in Star Trek, the Next Generation.
Gavan O'Herlihy as baddie Fraker, Alex in the back.
